What: This week in class we went over word documents, making sure the class knew how to edit, create, and design the best document possible. We also got a new assignment to make a powerpoint with out group on our "class rules"!
So What: It was effective to have the class ask questions about google document and then have them answered. This way the whole class learned more about google document and we were able to clear things up at the beginning of class. Our powerpoint project was very similar to our google document project, I like working in groups, I got a great group and together we learn about powerpoint and are able to help eachother and ourselves. Sometimes things are less organised and harder to do in groups, but I think that the "Stupendous Second" group works really well together. It is good to work with a group because in the future when we are teachers we will have a whole faculty to work with, and this way makes it as easy and efficent as it is going to get.
Now What: I plan to use google more often. I like powerpoints, they are a fun way of learning and for kids they are great because you can add pictures and exciting backgrounds. Now that I know how easy powerpoint can be I might even challange future students to do them and learn how to work with a group and on a computer in a fun, fast, and efficent way.
Video Reflection: This video got me thinking about the future. It is hard to believe that ten years ago computers, phones, ipods, and x box's either didn't exist or were uncommon. Now new technology is everywhere and there is always something new and exciting on the loose. I can't imagine what the future is going to be like but like these kids have said I think that technology will continue to get smaller, more efficent, and there will be more "media mobility." I wouldn't be suprised if phones, televisions, computers, and ipods all connect into one small device. If this des happen it will be very efficent, but in a classroom a teacher doesn't need more distractions then it already has. If kids in the next generation grow up around so much new and advanced technology most of them will have access to it and know how to use it. This could be used nicely for studying and other activities, but the entertainment part is what kids seek for the most, so I can see it as being a huge distraction for the classroom and social interactions.

Do You Believe In Me?
In the video Do you belive in Me? I found the kid to be very inspiring. I love that at such a young age he desires to be succusful and is doing something about it. He hit it right on, what makes or breaks a teacher is "believing." When facing hard times I like to believe that things will soon get better, by doing this I tend to focus on the positive and push through the hard times. Beliving is a truly great gift in which many people today don't posses. This young man believes in himself and believes that people can make a difference. This attitude will not only get him far in life but also those he encounters.

My Ideal Classroom
My idel classroom... what a broad subject! I have so many fantasies and ideas I have for my future classroom I don't know where to begin! I have grown up in Salt Lake City Utah and have loved every minitue of it! It is the place of my childhood and the place that I found my imagination and dreams. That is why I would love to teach in the same surroundings!
As a child I loved playing outside, and I especially loved the seasons and the feelings that came with every season change! In my fourth grade class I hope to take my children outside often, to really explore nature and learn from it. I hope to have adventurous lievely children that are ready to explore! I expect them to have some troubled areas, and I definately don't expect them to all be the same. But that is what makes it exciting for me, every child will bring on a new challange that I as a teacher hope to work through and truly help each child not only excel but fall in love with learning.
I strongly believe in the importance of family. The family is what shapes a child, and it is very important for them to be a big part of their childs life. Children are precious miracles that need lots of love and nurtuting, and this comes from the family. I want to involve parents as much as I can into their childs life by filling them in on what is going on in the classroom and the personal progress of their child.
I hope to have a smaller class, this way I can have more time for each student and hopefully not have to focus too much on class management. I have noticed than in smaller groups I am more comfortable and more myself, I don't feel overwhelmed by people and I can just enjoy the ones im with.
Friendship at school is very important, the friends children have and make will affect the way they learn and the desire they have to come to school. By pushing the desks into small groups of four or five I hope to find the students communicating and learning from each other. I want them to become very comfortable with their groups and then switch up the desks, hopeing that they will keep the friendships they gained in their groups, and make new friends in their new group.
I know my classroom won't be perfect but this kinda excites me, it's like a puzzle, problem solving untill the problem is worked out while learning on the way. I loved my childhood and i hope that my children will not have the desire to grow up fast. Childhood is wonderful and I want them to know and enjoy it. Today too many kids want to grow up fast, getting too involved with the television and computer games, I want to take them away from this in hopes that they will find their imagination more enjoyable than anything else.
The classroom should be a fun enjoyable place where kids want to come. That is why I am gonig to make my classroom filled with fun colors; colored posters of numbers, inspiring quotes, pictures that liven the imagination, and more!
I can't wait to have my own classroom! It will be a wonderful learning experience for both me and the children!
